What exactly is a vampire facelift

Would you like to rejuvenate your facial skin without undergoing a surgical facelift?  A vampire facelift may be the answer. The vampire facelift can improve skin tone and texture, and restore youthful fullness to the face.   But what exactly is a vampire facelift.

What exactly is a vampire facelift?

A vampire facelift is the name given to a facial rejuvenation procedure in which hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers and platelet-rich-plasma (PRP) are used to minimize visible signs of aging.

The vampire facelift is a multistep process. HA fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane are first used to sculpt the face and restore the natural shape. Once this is complete, the physician will draw a small sample of the patient’s blood.  The blood is subsequently spun in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets, which are then activated so as to release the potent growth factors.

Finally, the PRP is injected into key areas of the face using a very small needle.  The growth factors in the PRP rejuvenate the skin over time by stimulating the production of collagen, and improving blood flow to the tissues.

What can a vampire facelift do for you?

The face changes shape with age due to the loss of volume, and this causes fine lines and folds to appear, along with grooves at the sides of the nose.  A vampire facelift can remedy these age-related changes.  A vampire facelift can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, fill in deep grooves, brighten skin tone, and restore the youthful fullness to your face.
